
A group of burglars in Malaysia, who planned to break into a shop while its employees were away and rob its safe, saw their criminal plan work flawlessly – except for the bit where they didn’t have the right tools, turned up on the wrong day, and ended up running away empty-handed.
The burglars first forced their way into a beauty salon in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur, then broke through a wall with a sledgehammer to enter the pawnshop next door. This part of their scheme went pretty much according to plan.
But then, according to police officer Abdul Jalil Hassan, the crooks couldn’t break open the safe in the pawnshop because they didn’t have the right tools.
